The "Softy" mandolin strap is my strap of choice. It is made of quality soft leather that is narrow at the ends and widens over the shoulder for a comfortable fit. For F models the strap loops over the scrool and attaches to the strap button at the bottom of the mandolin. For A models a strap button can be installed.
